Archer is 9!

We celebrated Arhcer's 9th Birthday yesterday. He chose to have McDonald's for breakfast (Ethan bought it for him!). He came home from school to a balloon boquet and a Happy Birthday banner that Ryder and I set up for him. Eric and I gave him a Kindle and took everyone to Wingers (Archer's choice). Archer was very adimant that he have a mint chocolate chip ice cream birthday cake so that is what he got! It was a great day!

Life is crazy! I thought I would share a few of my favorite pictures from my phone.

This next one is not my favorite but I need to share it.

She fell down the day after Thanksgiving and since she has no reflexes she landed on her face. She was unconscious for a minute or so and we thought maybe she knocked out some teeth but thankfully she did not. Her condition has deteriorated rapidly over the past 4 months or so. I always knew she would get worse with time and I knew it would be hard for our family..but this disease is brutal.

Home Improvement

Eric and I have been working our tails off around the house. Some things needed to be done and some things we updated just because we wanted to. Not everything we have been working on is finished yet but I'll give you a sneek peak at our hard work.

I had almost the whole inside of the house painted, we put new flooring in (LOVE IT!!), painted all of the trim high gloss white, this next one Eric is not too sure about but I am digging it big time.. painted the interior doors high gloss black. Eric ripped out a little wall that sepparated our kitchen/dining room and it made the space so much bigger! Ethan's room was just a bit too big so Eric also ripped out a wall there and built another one. I am so impressed with my hubby, he is so talented and is able to fix/build almost anything. Gotta go, I'm sure there is something around here I'm supposed to be painting right now. p.s. I can't find the spellcheck thing and I'm sure that I've misspelled many words so deal with it.

Ryder goes to Kindergarden

Ryder's teacher this is year is the same teacher Archer had for 1st grade. He loves going to school everday.

I finally got around to actually doing a pinterest project. I worked wonderfully! It was really easy, I bought acrylic craft paint in whatever colors I wanted, emptied each color into a ziplock bag, filled it halfway with water and mixed. We twisted the shirts and secured them with rubber bands. My shirt I did a little differenly and I loved how it turned out! We then dunked the rolled up shirts in whichever of the colors the kids wanted. It just took a quick dip to get the color onto the shirts. We left them outside to dry and there you have it!! very fun and colorful!

On another note: I dropped spray starch on my foot, ouch!!
