boys love soccer

Ethan and Archer are involved in soccer for the first time this year. Ethan is behind the curve and while all of his team mates are working hard together Ethan is sitting down looking at the rocks or talking to the goalie. He doesn't quite understand the game yet (we are working on it). Watching Archer and his team play is so funny! All the kids follow the ball wherever it goes, especially when it goes out of bounds. They are both having so much fun and so are we. Ryder does not want to miss out on any of the action. He loves to sit in his little johnie jump up thing and one day there was a ball near him and he started to kick it. Now when he is in the jumper we will kick the ball to him and he will kick it back and I swear he says "kick it!!" or something that sounds like it.

I love this bag!!

The new reuseable bag that Wal Mart is now selling is so great!!! I have like 10 of them. I put them in the trunk of my car and they are always with me. They hold so much stuff. It makes me feel like I am doing something great when I walk out of Wal Mart without any of those white plastic bags (I hate them, I hate them) that just go in the garbage and take up space. My husband is even proud of me!

Nacho Libre

My boys, 7 and 4, have discovered that they think Nacho Libre is the funniest movie ever! I catch them re-enacting the wrestling scenes in the living room all the time and practicing their mexican accents. This morning after I dropped Ethan off to school I was working around in the kitchen and I heard Archer talking to the baby.. "Choncho, sometimes grown men like to wear strechy pants". I laughed so hard!

first blog post ever!!

Wow, it was just about 3 weeks ago that I actually found out what a blog is and now I have my own! I am sitting in my room watching the miss usa pagent. I'm not really watching attentively, I did catch the swim suit and evening gown part. They wear so much makeup and all I can think of is what they would like like with out the make up and the hairdos...This is one of the many reasons that I am blessed to only have sons. I can remember being a teenage girl and obsessing over what other people thought of me. I am so glad to be a grown up (most of the time).

I am so excited for the weather to be warm, spring is my favorite seasons. Here are a couple more things that I would add to the favorite list: waking up after 7:30 A.M., having breakfast made for me, being able to take a long hot shower, the lingering smell of my husbands body spray, kisses from Ethan and Archer when I drop them off to school, Ryder's laugh, going to lunch with my parents, sitting down at the kitchen table and doing homework with Ethan while Archer colors, 4:35 on weekdays (this is when Eric gets off of the bus and I can see him walking home), having dinner made for me, bathing the baby (Ryder) and the moments just after all of the kids fall asleep.
