workin' at the car wash

I love when Eric has days off! By 9am this morning the house was clean (tag team effort) and the car was washed!! Archer and Ryder got in on the car washin' action and Ryder got a bit too involved with the soap bucket. I couldn't resist taking pictures. Of course I had to take video too!!

Watch out 2nd grade, here comes ETHAN!!

Isn't he the best lookin kid?!?!?! Then again, I might be a tad bit partial... Ethan was so excited for school this morning I didn't even have to tell him to get in the shower and remind him to get dressed. He did it all without me nagging him, go figure. I picked him up from school and he said he had a great day!!

I hope he will always love school!
Archer was a little sad this morning, not because Ethan was leaving but because Archer's school doesn't start for another couple of weeks.

Reverence please...

Ryderroo learned a new skill on Sunday. We can now add "fold your arms" to "where's your nose" and "peek-a-boo". He's my special boy!!

We love Grandma Jane!!!!

This week we had a very special visit from Grandma Jane (Eric's mom). She was with us for about 5 days, not long enough. Grandpa Ron (Eric's dad) wasn't able to make the trip, he is very busy with his new job. We had a great week! Mostly we just chilled out and visited, but on Thursday we went to Thanksgiving Point to the dinosaur museum and watched the IMAX 3-D movie about the ocean. We had a very great time with Grandma but we sure did miss Grandpa!!

WE LOVE YOU!!!

Kroff Family Reunion

This weekend was the annual Kroff Family Reunion. We spent Thursday and Friday camping out in Ophir, it was beautiful!! I didn't actually camp but Eric and the boys did, I came home each night. Friday we spent most of the afternoon playing games, Ethan and Uncle Colby played the "feed-Uncle Colby-pudding-while-blind folded" game.... I haven't laughed that hard in a long time.

Then it was time to play "feed-Ethan-pudding-while-grandpa's-eyes-are-closed" game. It got way too messy for Ethan.

We had such a great time being with family and just hanging out!

Here fishy fishy...

My boys have always wanted to go fishing so Uncle Colby made time to come out to Tooele on Saturday and take them. They each had their own little fishing poles that the were using.

Ethan was actually really happy to be fishing, they must have caught him right after the smile.

Archer's line was bobbing in the water for who knows how long when they realized that there was a fish tugging on it. They pulled the little fishy out of the water and it was exausted! They let it go.

They did end up catching a normal size fish and Uncle Colby taught them how to gut it, Ethan was really grossed out but Archer had no problem with it. Now I have this rainbow trout in the frigde in a zip lock baggy and I know we will not eat it.
